Wesley Dale Thompson

Wesley Dale Thompson, 65, of Crimora passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2023 in Fishersville.

He was born on December 12, 1957 in Charlottesville, Virginia he was the son of the late William Robert Thompson and Mary Jane (Pugh) Thompson.

Wesley worked as a mechanic prior to becoming disabled. He enjoyed going to auctions and reselling.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Franklin Thompson, Roger Thompson, James "Randy" Thompson, Ricky Thompson, Gary Thompson and Jackie "Jack" Thompson.

He is survived by a brother, Ernest "Ernie" Thompson of Faber; daughter, Towanna Thompson of Crimora; grandchildren Kaitlyn Harman of Raphine, Jacob Harman of Verona, Kelsey Parrish of Fishersville, Caleb and Michael Gundry of Crimora; two great granddaughters, Kiyah Hunt and Kalara Beverlin of Raphine, another due in February, nieces and nephew, Michele "Thompson" Marks, Nicholas Thompson, and Madison Marks of Crozet as well as his long time live in caregiver Joy Carter.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at Wild Rose Cemetery 1380 Pounding Creek Rd. Batesville, Virginia 22924 with Pastor John P. Campbell officiating.

Following the service family and friends are invited to gather at the Crozet Fire Department for a time of fellowship and remembrance.

There will be no formal viewing or visitation at the funeral home. The family would like to thank the Augusta Health Hospice for caring for Wesley during his final days.
