Tonya Marie DeBilzan Fitzgerald

Tonya Marie DeBilzan Fitzgerald, 50, of Arrington, Virginia left this Earth and became an Angel on November 7, 2023.

She was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut on March 8, 1973.

She is preceded in death by her father, Verne DeBilzan, Sr.; her grandparents, John and Elenora Odrlin; and her beloved cousin, Anthony Paul Magliochetti.

She is survived by her mother, Sharon DeBilzan; her siblings, John, Jim, and Verne DeBilzan; her children, Brooke Stinnett (Derek); Hunter Fitzgerald (Alex), and Caleb Zirkle; her nieces, Alexis, Whitney (Brian and Coletrane) and Laura (Cameron, James, Oscar, and Bennett); her nephews, Zach (Harley and Owen); Joe (Zayne); V.G., John-Jon (Sierra), Eli, Max (Kammilly), and Adam (Haley); her aunts, JoAnne (Christine and John) and Mary Lou (Bob); her cousin, Michael (Kristine, Ava, and Jordyn) as well as some very special friends whom she loved dearly, Alfred, Janet, Tim, and Morgan.

Tonya was known as a caring and thoughtful mother and friend to everyone she met.  Although she could be forgetful, she always had the best of intentions.  She was a creative soul who enjoyed art, music and gardening, but most of all spending time with those she loved.  She will always be remembered as a caring individual who put others first, and leaves a great example of living life to the fullest with all who knew her.

There will be a celebration of life for Tonya held at her mother’s house at the family cemetery on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at 12:00 p.m.  All family and friends are welcome to come and reminisce and support each other in remembering the life of Tonya DeBilzan Fitzgerald.
