Robert Loyd Small

Robert Loyd “Bobby” Small, 64, of Amherst died Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at his residence.

He was born May 10, 1959 in Waynesboro a son of the late Harman Sedgwick Small and Mary Lillian Spencer Small.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his two sisters, Rebecca Lynn Small and Sandra Gail Small.

Bobby was a devoted father, brother and a friend to all.

He is survived by his children, Emory Nicole Small and Bryan J. Brown of Amherst and Dylan L. Small of Texas; three brothers, Freddie Small and Janet of Faber, Ricky Dean Small and Diane of Waynesboro, and Adam Wayne Graves and Cynthia of Cincinnati, OH; AJ and Kaelyn Graves.

A funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Wells/Sheffield Funeral Chapel with Russell Simpson officiating.

Private Interment will be in Ridgecrest Cemetery in Lovingston.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
