Mike was a very kind, loving and church going man. He was not only blessed with one family but by the family that took him in with open arms where he spent many years, Patricia and Westley Shaver and also with Roger and Pamela Patrick.
He spent most of his time enjoying nature, going on walks and sitting on the porch jamming to some good ole rock n roll and country music. As most know, Mike was a self taught drummer, which he still played up until he got sick. He truly loved his music and had a band that played in Charlottesville.
Mike was one to keep a conversation going, he loved his family and friends. He also loved hunting, fishing and even got on a boat for the first time at Smith Mountain Lake.
He was deeply loved and will be missed.
