Marciano "Marshall" Henderson

The same way that he lived life is how beloved husband, father, uncle, and friend Marciano “Marshall” Henderson peacefully slipped away on the morning of March 13, 2025, at the young age of 73.

Marshall did everything in life the way he preferred to drive his hot rods back in the day, at full throttle. Marshall could be found in his wingback chair on Sunday’s donning his Dallas Cowboys hat cheering on his boys, he rarely missed a game. In true Cowboy fan fashion, he would passionately defend his team. We are counting on you to help us out this year Marshall, as you will have the best seat in the house.

Marshall had an unparalleled appreciation for music, fond of timeless Motown hits like My Girl, he would bellow out the lyrics at family functions, but no song made him want to dance like his all time favorite, Michael Jacksons, Billy Jean. His antics, dancing, and laughter to Billy Jean, created countless cherished memories and we will never be able to listen to this song without fond memories of the joy it brought him.

Marshall was a great storyteller and often reminisced about the mischief of his youth, every one of those stories included his brother-in-law and best friend, Leon Murphy. You rarely saw one without the other. In most friendships there is one person who keeps the other from making regrettable but hilarious decisions, Leon and Marshall lacked that one person and that made for crazy adventures. Marshall never turned down an adult beverage and that made him the life of many a party, often accompanied by his two amigos who to his last day he shared a close bond, Wallace and Mark Murphy.

Marshall leaves behind a legacy of love, joy, and laughter. Marshall was born November 19, 1951, to the late Rosa Lee Henderson in addition he was preceded in death by numerous aunts and uncles.

Marshall is survived by his wife of 51 years, Bobby Jean Henderson, his devoted Sons, Tracey and Sean, his Uncle Chestine Henderson and a large extended family of in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
