Lillian Boyce Wray

Lillian Boyce Wray, 83, of Amherst, Virginia passed away on December 1, 2023. She was the beloved wife to her late husband Major William E. Hathaway.

Lillian was born in Charlottesville, VA, attended college at UMBC and became a book editor. She went on to marry Bill and they moved to Amherst, VA where she volunteered at numerous organizations  and joined many clubs that were dear to her.   Lillian loved antiques, her  beloved dogs and of course her books. 

In addition to her husband Lillian was predeceased by her parents William Swope Wray and Lillian Earle Boyce.

Donations to the Amherst County Library, PO Box 370, Amherst, VA as an expression of sympathy are welcome.

A graveside service will be held at Mountain View Cemetery, Lovingston, Virginia on Sunday, April 21, 2024 at 11:00 a.m.
