Katherine Imogene Roberts

Katherine Imogene Roberts, 85 of Alexandria and formally of Nelson County died Friday May 20, 2022 at her residence.  Katherine was born February 11, 1937 in Nelson County (Rockfish Depot community) a daughter of the late Eugene and Katherine Phillips Pugh.

She was a graduate of Nelson County High School and was of the Baptist faith and was a devoted homemaker to her husband and children.

  She is survived by her husband Rexford (Rex) Roberts, a daughter, Carolyn I. Hisey of Alexandria; a son, Rexford D. Roberts, Jr. of Pensacola, Florida;  a sister, Margaret Roberts, and two bothers Carlton and Roland Pugh as well as five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

 A funeral service will be held Tuesday May 24, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Wells/Sheffield Funeral Chapel in Lovingston with Pastor John P. Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in the Roberts Family Cemetery at Shipman. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
