Janice Wine Davidson

Janice Louise Wine Davidson, 93, of Faber passed away on Friday, November 11, 2022 at her residence.

Born June 3, 1929 in Virginia she was a daughter of the late Ray Michael Wine and Annie Shaffer Wine.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Alvis Troy “Pete” Davidson, Jr., her son, Michael Troy “Mike” Davidson, and her sister, Catherine Lambert.

Janice was a retired postal clerk with over 20 years of service, bookkeeper for the family business, and a lifelong member of the Rock Spring United Methodist Church in Faber.

She is survived by her daughter, Maryann Glynn of Faber; three granddaughters, Waverly D. Ward and husband, Matt of Roseland, Leigh Ann Davidson and husband,  Josh Alberone of Coconut Creek, Florida, and Carey M. Davidson and husband, Jarryed Etter of Lynchburg; four great-grandchildren, Colton, Carter, and Stella Ward and Maryn Etter; and a niece, Joan Misko and husband, George of Rockville, Maryland.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at Rock Spring United Methodist Church Cemetery in Faber with Pastor Hillary Evans officiating.

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 18, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Davidson home place.
