George Montgomery Allen

George Montgomery Allen, 75, of Shipman passed away on Monday, October 16, 2023 at The University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville.

He was born December 14, 1947 in Washington, DC a son of the late Walter Morris Allen and Lena Nora Rose Allen.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Walter Allen and Ralph Allen and one sister, Betty Miles.

George was a claims estimator for the U.S. Department of Education.

He is survived by five brothers, Warren Allen of Shipman, VA, Herbert Allen of Camp Springs, MD, James Allen of Germany, Melvin Allen of Danville, PA, and Alfred Rose of Hampton, VA.
