Gary Wayne Tinnell

Gary Wayne Tinnell, 69, passed away unexpectedly Friday morning, June 24, 2022 at his residence.

Gary was born October 15, 1952 in Arlington, Virginia a son of the late James and Alice Tinnell.

Besides his parents, Gary was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth and Gregory Tinnell and one sister, Linda Martin.

Gary is survived by three sons, Christopher Tinnell and his fiancée Cathy Hawley of Shipman, VA, Brian Tinnell and his wife, Sarah of Tennessee, and Adam Tinnell and his wife, Lindy of Maryland; life long friend and love of his life, Sharan Rose Jackson of Amherst, Virginia; three granddaughters; one grandson; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

A very special family, Chrystal Walker, Sam Smith, James Edwards, Monique Nelson, Eli Durant, E’nilah Durant, and Damon Durant all of Shipman.

There will be a celebration of life for Gary at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 3, 2022 at the home of Chrystal Walker in Shipman.
