Frances Harris Witt

Frances Harris Witt, 95, of Faber passed away on Friday, May 27, 2022 at Rosewood Village in Charlottesville.

She was born on February 1, 1927 in Nelson County, a daughter of the late Jesse Lee Harris and Fannie Hill Harris.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore (Teddy) E. Witt; her daughter, Donna Rutherford; and her siblings, Rolene Seay, Leona Wilfong, Eula Norvell, and Jesse Harris, Jr.

Frances was a member of Mt. Shiloh Baptist Church in Faber.

She is survived by her son, Dale Mark Witt of Faber; three grandsons, Christopher Rutherford, Daniel Rutherford, and Jesse Rutherford as well as numerous great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at Rock Spring United Methodist Church Cemetery in Faber with Pastor Sandra Kelso officiating.
