Ena Lucille Damron Woody

Ena Lucille Damron Woody was born on April 30, 1931, in Faber, Virginia and died on July 5, 2023, at the home she loved so much in Shipman, Virginia.

Ena is survived by her daughters, Deborah Garrison and husband Chris, Rebecca Thurston and husband Kenny, Karen Crickenberger and husband Blain, granddaughters Colby Lawson and Leslie Carter and husband Brett, grandsons Kenton Quick and wife Brett and Ryan Quick and wife Vanessa; ten great grandchildren, Anya and Bryce, Addison, Annabelle and Sterling, Charlotte and Bennett and Lewis, Sullivan and Rutherford, numerous nieces and nephews, a brother-in-law, Clarence Campbell, sisters-in-law Nancy Powell and Agnes Reynolds.

In addition to her parents, Ena was predeceased by her husband, Herman “Buddy” Woody, siblings, Robert, Roy, Cecil and Jenny and her grandson, Kyle Crickenberger.

The Woody family is pleased to recognize and thank Angela Barbour, Hospice of the Piedmont Nurse, for her compassion, support, professionalism and special bond during this journey.

The family invites you to join them Saturday, July 8, 2023, to visit and celebrate Ena’s beautiful life from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m., followed by her funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Calvary Baptist Church, Lovingston VA, where Ena was a member. Burial will follow at Rock Spring Methodist Church, Faber VA
