Elizabeth Ariel Monast

Elizabeth Ariel Monast, 25, “Ariel”, was called to her final resting place Monday, January 2, 2023.

Ariel was born March 24,1997 in Fishersville, VA. She was born to Michael Patrick Monast and Rebecca Rose Monast.

Ariel attended Nelson County High School. She was kind to everyone she met, she never judged a sole, and always helped others even when she needed help herself. She was full of life and enjoyed spending time outside in nature. She always saw the light in everyone. Ariel loved all of her family and always tried to bring joy to everyone. We will remember her most for her caring demeanor and loving personality. 

Ariel leaves to cherish her memory her loving mother Rebecca Monast of Arrington, her devoted father Michael Monast of Arrington, her siblings Patty Martin (Greg) of Amherst, Mikey Monast Jr of Arrington, Joey Monast (Kyra) of Roseland, and Phillip Monast of Arrington, 3 neices Macie, Emma, and Maddison, and 2 nephews William and Woods, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends that were like family.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Friday, January 13, 2023 at the Wells/Sheffield Funeral Chapel in Lovingston, Virginia with Rev. Jeffrey Campbell officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service.
