Douglas Howard Simpson

Douglas Howard "Dinky" Simpson, 68 of Shipman passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022 at his home.

He was born January 27, 1953 the son of the late Marion Douglas Simpson and Arlene McQuary Simpson.
Douglas is survived by his sons, Chris Simpson, Shane Simpson, and Travis Viar; two brothers, David Simpson and wife, Debbie and Daniel Simpson and wife Belinda; two sisters, Donna Simpson and Michelle Renee Simpson; one grandson, Shane Alexander Simpson; and numerous other family members.
He was a carpenter and enjoyed nice cars, cooking out and relaxing with family and friends talking about the good ole days.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Davis Cemetery with Mike Wooten officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Wells/Sheffield Funeral Chapel.
