Debra Collins Lynch

Debra Collins Lynch, 69, of Lovingston died Friday, November 22, 2024 at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville.

Born February 22, 1955 in Emporia, Virginia she was a daughter of the late Clem Joseph Collins and Ida Francis Robinson Collins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Harold Lynch.

Debra was a loving and dedicated mother and grandmother. 

She is survived by a son, Brian Lynch and wife, Anne; a daughter, Jennifer Irvine, and husband, Matt; a brother, Mike Collins and wife, Karen and a sister, Sandra Briggs and husband, Mike. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Austin Eagle, Arianna Ochsenrider, Taylor Irvine, Cayden Fitzgerald, Ayden Irvine and Sawyer Irvine. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and family, her sweet dog, Bella and two very close friends, Bob and Sandy Solar.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at Calvary Baptist Church with Dr. Michael Curry officiating.

Interment will follow in the Mountain View Cemetery in Lovingston.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
