Charles Alvin Taylor, 78 of Wingina passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family.
He was born February 5, 1943, the son of the late Jim Taylor and Zelma Mae Tyler Taylor.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jim David Taylor and a granddaughter, Charlotte Lorraine Taylor.
Charles is survived by his wife of 31 years, Georgia Ann Cunningham Taylor; his children, Charles Alvin Taylor, Jr. (Colleen) and Anita Taylor (Rob Klingler); sister, Eleanor McFadden; brother Michael Taylor (Michelle); his five grandchildren, Kimberly Taylor (Wayne Stark), Charles Joshua Taylor (Jami Hatfield), James Matthew Taylor (Kyra Pardue), Jonathan Taylor (Katie), and Courtney Klingler; his four great-grandchildren, Ryker, Colton, Lane, and Tatum; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Charles enjoyed bear hunting and spending time with his family.
A funeral services will conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 27, 2021 at Wells/Sheffield Funeral Chapel with Pastor Randy Christian officiating. Interment will follow in the Taylor Family Cemetery at the home in Wingina.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 26, 2021 at the funeral home.
