Charles George Bergold

Charlie Bergold, 67 of Lovingston, formerly of East of Long Island, sadly has left us on Sunday, January 15, 2023.

He was born November 20,1955 in Bayshore, Long Island to the late Charles Gustav and Mary Agnes Carr Bergold.

Charlie is survived by his wife, Jennifer Jens; a daughter Allie Bergold of LI; two sisters, Carla Taylor of VA and Susan Xie of CA; his brother Doug Bergold of PA; two nieces Nicole Taylor and Erin Bergold; two nephews, Louis Taylor and Adam Bergold; and his very special long time four legged friend, Nettie and newest addition Baby Burrito.

Charlie had a passion for sailing, diving and discovering different kinds of music.  Most recently Charlie could be found spending quality time in his barn working on a multitude of projects.  His gift of storytelling will be sorely missed by his dear friends, both old and new and his family.  

A celebration of life will be held at a later date on the North Fork of LI.
