Barbara Sue Snead

Barbara Sue Snead, 67 of Schuyler passed away Friday June 10, 2022 at her residence.

Barbara was born March 30, 1955 in Charlottesville a daughter of Billy and Frances Simpson of Faber.   

She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Johnny Lee Snead, Sr. in 2018 and her younger brother, Jerry Wayne Simpson.

Besides her parents she is survived by her son, Johnny L. Snead, Jr. and wife, Linda (Ree); Daughter, Melissa S. Jordan and husband, Rodney; Grandchildren, Jacob Jordan, Kristin and Kaitlyn Snead; Brothers, Russ and Curtis Simpson; a special friend and sister-in-law, Linda Snead and several nieces and nephews. Sue had a profound love for her dogs, Rosie, Jazzy and Charlie.

A funeral service will be held Monday June 13, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at the graveside in the Snead Family Cemetery at 7801 Old Dominion Road, Schuyler, Virginia with Pastor Randy Golladay officiating.
