Ann Morris Stinnett

Ann Morris Stinnett, 80 of Amherst, Virginia, passed away on July27,2023 at Fairmont Crossing. 

She was born on September 28, 1942, in Lynchburg, VA, a daughter of the late George and Thelma Bibb Butler Morris. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by two brothers, George Madison Morris, and Sergeant 1^st Class William Butler.

Ann worked at Food Lion in Amherst and was a member of Clifford Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband Hal Stinnett of Amherst, VA, her daughters Michelle of Glen Allen and Dana (Tim), of Glen Allen, and her grandson Clinton, her sister Nell Crist of Staunton, special friends of the family Hope, Kenzie and Carter Nesmith of Glen Allen, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. 

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 31^st, 2023 at 1pm at the Wells/Sheffield Funeral Chapel in Lovingston, VA with Reverend Jeffrey Campbell, and Reverend Dr. Michael R. Fitzgerald officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethel Church of the Brethren Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 12pm to 1pm.

In lieu of flowers,  donations can be made to Bethel Church of the Brethren, Arrington, VA or the charity of your choice.
