Addie Johnson Stevens, 92, of Lovingston, Va passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 8, 2023.

Addie was born on September 14, 1930 to the late Harlow S. & Carrie Kidd Johnson of Roseland, Virginia. She was retired from the US Department of Agriculture ASCS in Nelson and Amherst counties. She was a devoted member of Calvary Baptist Church, Lovingston, Virginia.

She is survived by her husband of 69 years, John H. “Jeff” Stevens, her sister Alice Dolly (Joe St. Pierre) of Bear, Delaware and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Warren, Robert and Harlow Jr. Johnson and Sisters Ethel “Zula” and Mary “Pete” Fitzgerald.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 11, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church in Lovingston with the Rev. John Campbell officiating.  Burial will follow at Jonesboro Baptist Church cemetery in Roseland.

In lieu of a Family Night, the family will receive friends and guests from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church prior to the service.
